While there is something to the fact that “you get what you pay for,” there is also something to providing high quality service and product at a reasonable price. I am upfront with all of my clients about pricing, time frame, and make every effort to predict possible unexpected expenses so that you can plan a solution to your problem.

How Do I Pay You?

I accept credit cards or debit cards, checks, as well as taking many other forms of payment. Before I accept any payment, I will conduct a thorough intake with you to determine which legal path will produce the most likely success or minimize risks to you or your business.

SERVICES OFFERRED

REVIEW OF DOCUMENTS: $350 FEE

The Law Offices of Richard Alan Gaudet, LLC conducts a thorough review of your document up to 8 pages for $350. For this price you will receive a consultation lasting up to 20 minutes, a review of the document, a written analysis of the risks, areas of exposure and liability in the document. The following are good examples of the type of documents that we review:

  • Operating Agreement – LLC
  • Shareholder’s Agreement
  • Non-Compete, Non-Disclosure, Non-solicitation Agreement
  • Privacy or WISP Policy
  • Vendor or other Business Contract
  • Will
  • Employment Agreement, Contract, or Offer Letter
  • Purchase and Sale Agreement

TRADEMARK REGISTRATION: $250 FEE

If you are seeking a service or trademark with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I will get your trademark registration settled in Massachusetts. Included in the $250 fee is a 20 minute consultation, a search through the trademark database in Massachusetts, and completion of the application for the trademark. You will still be required to pay the fees associated with filing a trademark application in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

FORM AN LLC: $850 FEE

The Law Offices of Richard Alan Gaudet, LLC will form your Massachusetts LLC or PLLC for a very reasonable fee. The $800 fee includes the following:

  • Operating Agreement (a $500 value)
  • Certificate of Organization
  • EIN Application (federal tax identification number)
  • Certificate of Organization

NOTE: You will be responsible for the filing cost associated with forming an LLC in Massachusetts. We can do the filing for you if you wish for no extra charge for the service, however, the cost will be passed on to you.

FORM A CORPORATION: $950 FEE

The Law Offices of Richard Alan Gaudet, LLC will form a corporation on your behalf. This service includes the following items:

Consult to work out officers, directors, shareholders, power, rights, duties, transferability of shares, and many other matters

  • Articles of Organization
  • Bylaws
  • Stock/Shareholder Certificates
  • Shareholder Register
  • Consents from director, incorporator
  • EIN application
  • Corporate Book (Meeting minute book)

NOTE: You will be responsible for paying for the filing fee charged by the State of Massachusetts. However, if you wish, we can file this paperwork for you at no extra charge for the filing service.

VENDOR or CUSTOMER CONTRACT: $850 FEE

Do you have customers that require a contract to clearly spell out the responsibilities of all parties to the contract? Does your existing contract contain a confidentiality agreement? Our fee includes the following:

  • Consult to determine the issues specific to your business
  • Draft Contract
  • Demand Letters for customer (to demand payment where applicable)

EMPLOYEE NEW HIRE PACKAGE: $1000 FEE

The Law Offices of Richard Alan Gaudet, LLC will assist you in the hiring process and include the following:

  • Initial consult to determine the requirements of your business
  • Employment Agreement
  • Employment Application
  • Non-Disclosure Agreement

CORPORATION REBUILDING: $900 FEE

It is not uncommon for a Massachusetts corporation to be missing key components, that is, an operating agreement or shareholder’s agreement, corporate book, board of director or member minute book, consents, stock or shareholder register and/or certificates, and bylaws.

Our agency will bring your corporation up to snuff so that you can rest at ease knowing that you have the protection necessary from your corporate structure.
